BOGART CUP: CANADIANS WIN, TAKE 1-0 SERIES LEAD

The Carleton Place Canadians received goals from five different players en route to a 5-2 victory in Game 1 of the Bogart Cup Finals against the Pembroke Lumber Kings on Sunday afternoon.

Vinny Post, Andrew Dodson, Ryker Killins, Jordan Larson, and Andy Sturtz had the goals, captain Stephen Baylis had 2 assists while Guillaume Therien turned aside 21 of 23 Pembroke shots for his 8th playoff victory.

Pembroke had goals from Ryan Casselman and Owen McDade while Jordan Piccolino had a rough outing allowing 5 goals on 27 shots.

Game 2 goes Monday April 13 at 7:30pm live from the Pembroke Memorial Center.
