BOGART CUP: CANADIANS TAKE 3-1 SERIES LEAD

The Carleton Place Canadians continued to fill the net on Friday night as they defeated Pembroke 6-3 and took a 3-1 series lead in the Bogart Cup Championship series.

Jordan Larson’s 3 goals and 1 assist paced Carleton Place offensively while Andy Sturtz (1g, 2a), Vinny Post (1g), and Wesley Baker (1g) also had goals on the night.  Tyson Stewart had a big night as he picked up 3 assists while Guillaume Therien had 25 saves for his playoff leading 10th victory.

Pembroke had goals from Alexandre Boivin, Stephen Cooney, and Hudson Michaelis while Anthony Nellis chipped in with 2 assists.  Jordan Piccolino surrendered 6 goals on 21 shots before being replaced by Sean Green who made 6 saves in relief.

Game 5 takes place Sunday April 19 at 3pm in Carleton Place.
