ROAD TO THE BOGART CUP: JR SENS TAKE 1-0 SERIES LEAD

The Ottawa Jr Senators came away with a tight 4-3 victory over the Pembroke Lumber Kings at home Saturday night.  With the win, the Jr Sens took a 1-0 best-of-seven series lead in their CCHL Semi Final match-up.

With the score tied 3-3 with 2:45 to play, it would be veteran forward Brandon Watt who would beat Jordan Piccolino to pick up the game-winning goal.  Isaac Anderson, Joey Champigny, and Daniel Sarracco also hit twine while recent NCAA Division I commitment Alexandre Savard-Belanger made 23 saves to improve to 5-0 in the postseason.

Pembroke received 2 goals from Adam Dauda and another from Jesse Blais while Jordan Piccolino turned aside 27 of 31 shots.
