Game Of The Week

This edition of Game of the Week takes us to the ice in a classic Saturday night Original Six
NHL clash. The 14-4-1 Montreal Canadiens will visit the TD Gardens to battle the 11-8-0
Boston Bruins in a game that promises bad blood. Carey Price and Tuukka Rask are the probable
starters, so look for a low scoring competitive game. Both have been solid thus far, starting in 14
and 15 games each.

What to follow: While the Bruins are not off to the hottest of starts, their hot goaltending has
helped push them into the 3rd place playoff spot in the Atlantic division. One thing that also
stands out about the Bruins heading into this week is their scoring (or lack thereof). Having
heated up as of late, Carl Soderberg has pushed himself into the top of the Bruins scoring race
alongside Brad Marchand but with only 5 goals. Secondary scoring has been key for the boys
from Beantown with only Daniel Paille being the only player to play a majority of the teams
games and having not scored as of yet. It comes as no surprise that Patrice Bergeron is the
leading set-up man, he also leads the team in points with 14. The temperature is sure to rise in
this game as it usually does when the Habs play the B’s especially with Milan Lucic stirring the
pot the last time the teams met.
