Vikings Take Stranglehold On Flyers

Nicolas Brazeau had 2 goals and 1 assist, Dylan McDiarmid also scored and Gianmarco De Meis stopped 20 of 21 shots as the Casselman Vikings defeated the Prescott Flyers 4-1 on Sunday.  Casselman now leads the best-of-seven series 3-0 and have a chance to close the out the series on Wednesday night in Prescott at 8pm.

Rams Take 2-1 Series Lead On Mustangs

It was back and forth from start to finish but the Stittsville Rams were able to score the last goal of the game with just 22 seconds on the clock to seal the victory as Connor Cobbold was the hero.  With the victory, the Rams took a 2-1 best-of-seven series lead over Gatineau.

Talmadge Farnes and Matt Allan also scored for Stittsville while rookie sensation Cole Carter had 3 assists to bring his team playoff scoring lead to 17 points.  Goaltender Matt Couvrette was sensational stopping 43 of 45 shots in the victory.

Vincent Proulx and Gabriel Tourangeau each had 1 goal and 1 assist for Gatineau while Justin Malette-Trottier was a rock in the net stopping 43 of 46 shots before ultimately being beaten for the winning goal with just seconds remaining in the game.
