Gatineau Ousts Ottawa West From Postseason
In a series that went back and forth from Game 1 to Game 4, things finally went one sided in the past two games as Gatineau took the series 4-2. Mustangs forwards Vincent Proulx and Gabriel Tourangeau were electric all series long as they each finished with 12 points in 6 games. Mikael Gervais had a solid series as well as he led all players with 6 goals in 6 games. Goaltenders Louis-Andre Jalbert and Justin Malette-Trottier split duties through out the series both posting strong efforts to help the Mustangs clinch the series.

Riley Hennigar was the leader up front for the Golden Knights through out the series as his 3 goals and 8 points in 6 games tied for the club lead. Captain Eric Wintjes was strong on defense putting up 1 goal and 7 assists as he finished up his Junior career. Goaltender Charlie Jensen finished the postseason with 2 shutouts and a 6-3 record but it was not enough as he struggled in Ottawa West’s final two games.
Gatineau Vs Stittsville For Conference Title
It will be the #2 seeded Metro Division Gatineau Mustangs squaring off with the #2 seeded Valley Division Stittsville Rams for the Dwaine Barkley Trophy. Schedule is yet to be announced.
