The Carleton Place Canadians got back in their CCHL Semi Finals Series with Cornwall in a big way on Sunday afternoon as they shut the Colts out 4-0. Captain Stephen Baylis led the way with 1 goal and 2 assists, Vinny Post and Devin Campbell also scored, while Guillaume Therien was perfect between the pipes making 28 saves and earning the shut out for his 4th victory of the postseason.
Denny Dubblestyne was extremely busy in the Colts net as he would be peppered with 44 shots, turning aside 40 of them being handed the loss.
The best-of-seven series is now tied 1-1 with Game 3 going Wednesday April 1st in Carleton Place at 7:30pm.
