The Rideau – St.Lawrence Conference Championship is set as the defending EOJHL Champion Casselman Vikings will face the Prescott Flyers. Both clubs would advance to the finals is different ways as the Vikings knocked off the Winchester Hawks in 5 games while it took Prescott 6 games to defeat the Brockville Tikis after being down 2-0 in the series.
Casselman Vikings
The top seeded St. Lawrence Division club has rolled through the playoff thus far going 8-3 and scoring 47 goals in 11 games. Nicolas Brazeau leads all Vikings players with 8 goals and 16 points so far while Captain Thierry Henry has been great on defense pitching in with 2 goals and 7 points. Goaltender Gianmarco De Meis is the last line of defense and makes the saves when they need to be made, he will need to be sharp against a hot Prescott Flyers team for Casselman to advance to the League Finals.

How They Got There…
After a Regular Season which saw them go 34-4-1-1 and have the top winning % in the Conference at .875, the Vikings would take out the Char-Lan Rebels in the 1st round in 6 games before taking care of Winchester in just 5 in the 2nd round.
Prescott Flyers
The #1 seeded team from the Rideau Division has had an up and down playoffs so far but have pulled out victories when ultimately needed. With an 8-4 record, they have won some close games and faced some adversity but have been much better as of late. Forwards Trevor Keleher and Brandon Gilmour have been the offensive leaders with 9 goals each in 12 games while Johnny Smith’s 12 assists leads the playoffs. In the net Jared Pitt is the guy Prescott is going with but have Dallas Slack if he is needed.

How They Got There…
The Rideau Division Regular Season Champions posted a record of 33-7-0-4 and would take on the Wesport Rideaus in the 1st round and advance in 6 games. In the 2nd round they would again be taken to 6 games but would get rolling as they pulled out 4-straight victories to come back from a 2-0 series deficit against Brockville. They picked a good time to get hot as they will need the confidence taking on the defending champs in the Conference Finals.
