Vincent Proulx’s spectacular playoffs continued Monday night as he scored his 11th and 12th goals of the postseason leading Gatineau to a 5-3 victory over Stittsville. With the win, Gatineau tied the best-of-seven series 2-2 making it a best-of-three from here on out. Gabriel Tourangeau, Jonathan Lacroix-Courville, and Mikael Gervais also found the net for the Mustangs while Justin Malette-Trottier made 25 saves for the win.
Ben Wade led the way for the Rams as he picked up 1 goal and 2 assists while Connor Cobbold and Matt Allan also scored. Goaltender Matt Couvrette had an off night in the crease as he allowed 4 goals on 21 shots to be credited with the loss.
Game 5 goes Wednesday night at 8:30pm in Stittsville live at the GRC.
