Jr Senators Sweep Rangers
Alexandre Savard-Belanger made 23 stops for the shutout, while Brandon Watt and Joey Champigny had the goals as the Ottawa Jr Senators defeated Gloucester 2-0. Savard-Belanger was spectacular in the series stopping 85 of 90 shots giving Ottawa exactly what they needed between the pipes.
With the victory, Ottawa swept the Rangers 4-0 in the series to advance to the CCHL Semi Finals where they will meet the Pembroke Lumber Kings. Schedule has yet to be announced.

Cornwall Ousts Hawks From Postseason
Kevin Hope got the scoring started in the first period then finished Hawkesbury off with an empty netter late as the Cornwall Colts defeated Hawkesbury 5-3 and took the best-of-seven series 4-2. Zac Tierney, Jay D’Amour, and Dean Derouchie also scored while Denny Dubblestyne stopped 26 of 29 shots in the victory.
CJ Stubbs had 2 goals for Hawkesbury, Rory Gagnon had the other while Gunner Rivers stopped 24 of 28 shots on the losing side.
Cornwall will now get prepared to face the #1 seeded Carleton Place Canadians in the CCHL Semi Finals.
