Defenseman Chris Morgan of the Gloucester Rangers is the latest CCHL player to make an NCAA commitment for the 2015-16 school year. The Detroit Michigan native recently finished his second season with the Rangers where he posted 1 goal and 10 assists while playing a defensively responsible game. Born in 1995, the 5-11, 193 blueliner is forgoing his final year of CCHL eligibility to join the Northland College Lumberjacks based out of Ashland Wisconsin who play in the NCAA III NCHA Conference.
